<nettime> If Gaza Were Here

Dear All,

I am reaching out to share with you a project I have been working on in the
past 10 months. As soon as Google released their new set of satellite
images from Gaza, I began documenting sites before and after Israeli
attacks in the Strip. I developed a database of Gaza's destruction and used
that data to fine tune a stable diffusion model to simulate the destruction
of any satellite image along the scale of destruction Israel inflicted on
Gaza. I am sharing a link to the instagram page that I created for the
project. I am currently working on a website that would allow people to
simulate the destruction of a satellite image of their current location. I
am reaching out to see if anyone is interested in connecting and
conversing. I have been introduced to this community through following and
reading works of Creative Art Ensemble, and thought I might find
like-minded people here to dialogue with!
